FAQs

When are you open?

Fresh flowers usually start making their appearance in late April/ early May depending on weather. We have flowers until Mid-October. From Mid-October to Mid-December you can find dried flowers and other seasonal offerings on the stand. The stand is open Friday and Saturday 9am-5pm. The stand is closed Mid-December to Mid-April. Please contact Carrie ahead of time if you are driving from far away to get flowers.

Do you do Wedding Flowers?

No I do not do Wedding flowers. I appreciate the inquiries, but I have made the decision to focus my business interests elsewhere. If you need a special arrangement for a special event you can order right on the website, under the “Shop” tab.

What is the best way to care for my bouquet?

Our flowers are cut the same day or within a few days of you purchasing your flowers. There a few simple steps to maximize your flower's vase life. Change the water every 2-3 days to ensure that the flowers have plenty of clean water to hydrate with. When you change the water, you can also clip the the stems. This will help the flowers drink up the water. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from ripening fruit and vegetables. The sunlight and the ethylene gas from the produce causes the flowers to mature faster and wilt. Lastly, as the flowers die, remove them. Some flowers will last longer than others.

How long will my bouquet last?

Our bouquets will last on average 5-7 days. Some flowers will last longer than others, it depends on the flower variety and care.
