Favorite Syracuse Restaurant

If you were around the CNY area in the summer of 2020, you probably already know about this gem of a spot, called Crazy Daisies. This greenhouse-café blew up last year after their mimosa flights became just about the most instagrammed drink of the summer. But there is so much more to this restaurant destination then their drinks!

For starters they have a greenhouse operation where you can find an array of plants to suit any need. All the plants are broken down by sunny, shade, annual, perennial, and there is even a greenhouse sorted by color. This year they expanded the greenhouse side with an additional giant greenhouse to house more glorious plants. The greenhouse has separate hours from the café, so check before you go if you want to peak into the greenhouses.

Next reason to stop is the killer food. Ingredients are sourced locally; you can tell they want their customers to have an excellent eating experience. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I suggest going there to try each. I have never tried a meal there that wasn’t good. Some of my favorites are the wood-fired pizza and the French toast. During the late fall they serve the BEST hot chocolate too, and if your up for it you can even have it spiked 😊

Third reason to visit this spot is the atmosphere! It is laidback, cheerful, and just a grounded place to be. You order your food at a counter and then choose where to sit. That could be out on the spacious lawn, sometimes in the greenhouse, or on their wraparound porch. You might even get a visit from the Crazy Daisies Dogs! A few weeks ago, Kyle and I went on a Sunday afternoon. They had a band playing, the silo bar was open outside, and the pizza was amazing. We had such a great time and will be back soon! 10/10 recommend you check this place out.
